Question: Hi, I am a 59 year old woman, non-smoker, 5'7' and 171 pounds.
In the past month I have developed pain in my right inner ankle and there is a small lump on it. There is no bruising, it is not red or hot. I have not suffered any falls or injuries. There is pain while walking or while putting pressure on it.
Thanks!

Brief Answer:
Need Scan to Confirm the Diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HealthcareMagic..
I thank you for posting your query here and I am definitely going to help you out..

I read your question completely and have understood it well enough..

Please note.

1. The lump that you are talking about could be nothing but veins.
Something called as Varicose veins.
Though, it is Seen all over leg, it usually presents that way sometimes.

2. It's better if I have a look. If possible, attach a picture.

3. It could also be, a soft tissue swelling. Something like lipoma or Sebaceous cyst.

4. Whatever it is, best is, please get a soft tissue ultrasound scan.
With this, we will know what exactly it is.
And we can treat it accordingly..

Hope this helps you..
In case you need further assistance, please contact me back..
Or you, can close the question and rate.
Take care..

Do take analgesics for pain..
