What Does Mass Containing Blood Vessels From Nostril Indicate?

I have had what seems like a cold. My nose has been extremely congested and I spend a great deal of time blowing my nose to try and clear the passages--to no avail. This morning I blew my nose and a flesh colored mass came out of my left nostril. It had multiple folds and small blood vessels (almost like varicose veins) in it.

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

What you blow out of your nose could be a nasal polyp which is a mass commonly seen in nose causing frequent nasal obstruction. Are you feeling better after this incident? Please try nasal decongestant nasal drops and antihistamine tablets.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
