No burning sensation when urinating. Only unprotected sex with wife, though a little rough. Symptoms for a week and a half
Brief Answer:
Rough sex, urine inf'n, urethritis, Prostatitis, stones etc can be causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Your symptoms could very well be due to rough sex/ trauma, however, pain persisting for more than a week is bit long, unless you are having rough sex, regularly! Redness suggests that there is a balanitis/ inflammation of glans as well.
I suggest you to avoid having any sexual intercourse for at least 3-5 days.
Also avoid using soaps etc on delicate genital skin/glans, as soaps can get into urethra and can cause irritation/ pain at tip i.e chemical urethritis/ balanitis.
You may take an Oral antiinflammatory e.g Ibuprofen tablet, twice or thrice daily though I can't recommend any specific treatment at this stage.
I also suggest a urine test i.e urine routine microscopy to look for any evidence of urinary tract infection Or prostatitis.
Rarely pain at tip of penis can be due to a kidney stone.
I would like to know more from you...
Does you wife complains of any symptoms like vaginal discharge? itching?Or burning sensation while passing urine?
Regards
