Question: I have a strange rash on my back, and I'm wondering what it might be. It's painful and the bumps are red and some have pus.

Very clear picture shows a rash on the back and seemingly is classical of herpes zoster.

Take rest.
Take plenty of oral fluids.
Painkillers as and when necessary.
