Brief Answer:
Looks infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/62 - left breast is reddened, enlarged a bit and warm - also have lymph nodes under left arm - have fever and very tired - no insurance - not visited a Doctor - no medications.

Please give some additional information.
Since when has all these symptoms started?
Any history of medical conditions like diabetes?
Any past history of similar illness?
Any other information that you would like to share?

My thoughts after reading your short history are:
This looks to be an inflammation/infection/ cellulitis of the left breast and hence secondary inflammation of the armpit lymph nodes.
If the problems is of long standing, malignancy has to be ruled out.

I would advise you the following in such a situation:
- Take an anti-inflammatory medication with painkiller properties like Ibuprofen round the clock after meals.
- If you have any leftover antibiotic at home that suits you too?
- You may need to arrange to see a Doctor so that clinical evaluation can be done, investigations undertaken of at least blood: CBC, blood sugar, urea and creatinine; ultrasonography of the breast and affected axilla.
You also needs prescription based antibiotic that a Doctor will give.
- Support to the breasts by elevating in a bra.

Further management as per the clinical evaluation and reports of the investigations.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

No history of diabetes, I am Caucasian, still going through my perimenopausal symptoms as well. Night sweats mood swings fatigue. I had very late periods, Until I was 60 I'm going to be 63 in December. I also seem to have water buildup under my left I like the bag I have had before I have big bag under my left eye. I've also noticed an increase of my allergies I have a lot of chest congestion because I have cats I'm allergic to and sometimes I get seasonal asthma from the cats that trigger it off .. The area on my left breast which is red is large and warm, sometimes a little itchy. I hope this helps thank you.

Brief Answer:
Thanks for your feedback

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your additional information.
Read the history fully and carefully.
The allergy usually does not present the way you have in the breast and axilla.
Please check whether the skin only is involved or there is swelling, pain and tenderness deep within the left breast.

The pain is under my arm on the left side of the breast where the lymph node is swollen it's very painful and sometimes I don't notice it at all, like it's affecting the muscle, the breast is definitely a enlargerd and the red area is warm I can't not tell if it's swelling within the breast, I freaked out and looked up IBC, and it does not mention having a fever or fatigue I almost feel like I have the flu. I do not have any insurance so I cannot run to a doctor with just anything. This is been going on for a few weeks. I will feel much better for a day or two and then feel bad again, and then much better a day or two.

Brief Answer:
Yet, it is necessary to get a clinical examination.

Detailed Answer:
I can understand how it is being uninsured in USA.
You may please try Free Clinical if you have any nearby.
You may at least get clinical evaluation, some investigations and proper prescription based medicines.
Try to get the proper diagnosis at the earliest as it is already for a few weeks.
I am worried as it may not be just anything.
Late diagnosis in certain diseases can cause more complications and have bad sequel.
