Brief Answer:
infected pilonidal cyst, zona or skin infection,

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for the query,
there are various possibilities,
-an infected pilonidal cyst; the location of this is at the level of the tail bone above the cleft of the buttocks. Prolonged sitting, trauma to that area, riding of bikes etc are risk factors. Treatment is surgical to excise completely but re-occurrence is possible. If its an abscess, the oozing substance will be pus otherwise clear fluid in case of simple cyst.

-Zona; this is a viral infection which usually will occur in individuals who had once had chicken pox. it appears as many swellings filled with clear fluid and painful. it usually appears only one side of the body; left or right. treatment is done with antivirals such as acyclovir.

-Skin infection cause by Staphylococcus which could be simple skin or at the level of hair follicle. treatment is drainage and with antibiotics.

Hope this helps. but if you have further query, i will be glad to respond.
Best regards
Dr Achuo
