Suggest Treatment For Painful Bruise On Scalp
Question: Hello Dr.
I have had an issue with round circles on my head that ooz a extremely sticky substance that develops a crusty layer over the circle on my scalp. It is painful and uncomfortable. It's been about 5 weeks and I finally had my wife pull some of the crusty coating off and it was very difficult to get off. But after getting the stuff off there are little rice looking worms that come out of the underneath of the crusty substance.
I went to a dermatologist last week and he did a biopsy and said it would be about a week before results come in. That will be Friday somtime. Meanwhile I wanted your opinion of what this might
be.
