Suggest Treatment For Painful Gums

Question: Hi..
I am having a gum pain for the past 2 weeks, i have consulted a dentist but there are no issues they have confirmed. But still, i am having the pain. I am also having one cavity tooth on the left side upper jaw.
I want to know what would be the reason for the gum pain, will it be any infection or cavity tooth?

Hi..
Welcome back..
As per your query in case if there is pain in gums that are in association with decayed tooth then if can be due gum Infection that can be secondary to tooth decay..
So a proper evaluation by getting x ray done will help in finding out the exact cause of the pain and then it appropriately like of treatment can be advised..
As far as gel is concerned, you can apply Lidocaine/Lignocaine containing gel for pain relief..
You can also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Naproxen...
