Suggest Treatment For Painful Lump Behind Right Ear
Question: I have a small painful lump behind my right ear it has appeared this morning and there is no redness to it yet. further up I have a red and painful spot in my hairline. I have also had an outbreak of red painful spots on various areas of my body for example on my legs and arms. the new spot or lump is concerning me. any advice would be appreciated.

there is no actual image as the area is just red
I believe it may be a blind spot
The spots on the rest of my body are red and end up with a yellow head. I also wear a headset in my job so I don't know if that is affecting it

You have developed multiple folliculitis.
It is a bacterial infection.
The swollen nodule behind your ear is enlarged lymph node secondary to infection.
I treat such cases with a combination of oral and topical antibiotics.
Amoxicillin with topical mupirocine acts well and gives good response within 3 to 4 days.
You can try this in consultation with your doctor.
