Question : I was in a car accident. the air bags deployed and i was not wearing my seatbelt. i was turning the wheel to the left to try to avoid the car and my left side and arm and hip slammed against the door. Nothing was found to be broken but they are very painful. Especially the tip of my elbow and one spot on the bottom of my forearm. the muscles about from three inces below my elbw to three inches above my elbow hurt bad and worse when i use them. what should i do. two orthopedic doctors have brushed off my concerns because they are not broke.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Bones may not be broken but there may be total or partial muscle rupture so you need to do ultrasound of arms or even MRI scan if necessary. Also.there may be some ligamentar injury that may need to be surgically repaired.till you do these tests you should rest, apply cold compresses and take painkillers.Wish you good health.Regards
