Suggest Treatment For Partial Bowel Obstruction Due To Scar Tissue
Partial obstruction can be managed conservatively.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
After surgery, bowel will become attached to the inner side of the scar sometimes leading to partial obstruction. In few, omental fat will encircle the bowel and attach to the inner aspect of the scar leading to obstruction.
The diagnosis of Obstruction has to be confirmed first.I manage partial obstruction conservatively. If the patient is not having abdominal distension, vomiting and constipation, obstruction is ruled out.
If there is mild distension and vomiting, I put Nasogastric tube,no oral intake and i give intravenous fluids .Most the patients will respond in partial obstruction. In complete obstruction, I do surgery releasing the obstruction.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.

It looks like Subacute Intestinal obstruction.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As per your description, it looks like Subacute Intestinal Obstruction. It resolves on its own in majority of patients. But I will recommend plain x ray abdomen in erect posture to confirm the diagnosis.
As there is no vomiting, nothing has to be done now.
Please take frequent small feeds. I prescribe a Prokinetic containing Levosulpiride tablet to my patients with similar complaints .
Hope I answered your query.
