Posted on Thu, 4 Feb 2016
Question: I have developed a "curve" in my penis. Is there anything that can be done to correct. I am 55 years old and have a very active sex life with my wife, but don't get the same penetration or able to maintain an erection.

Brief Answer:
This is La Peyronie’s disease!

Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this curve you have described. This is typical of la peyronies disease. It happens when there is fibroses and hardened tissue which prevents the tissue from expanding on this side. This canoes the curvature and interferes with normal sexual encounter. Treatment is application of Vitamin E. In most cases, surgery might be needed to address this. The best thing to do at this time is to talk to a urologist for examination and a treatment plan.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
