Question: tip of penis itches, similar to uti - but not exactly like previous uti several years ago. so is there anything I can try other than a visit to my doctor?

My problem has been going on for several weeks and has become a concern. Why doesn't it go away? There has been no change in frequency of urination or volume. I drink a glass of water each time I take medication and I take medication 5 times each day (50 mg metoprolol tartrate at 7 am, 3 pm and 11 pm; 75 mg clopidogrel at 9 am and 81 mg aspirin at 9 pm). Seldom drink water in between. I only weigh about 120 lbs. I notice the irritation at the end of voiding - there is no "stinging" sensation, just mild pain that ends as soon as my mind focuses on something else and does not return until the next urination event. I usually void about an hour after I drink water and I make sure I take in more water at 11 pm and usually void twice more after bedtime.

Thank you very much. I think that I've finally connected the dots - an incident that occurred when I got in my car. Pubic hair caught under my foreskin might have caused a small cut akin to a paper cut. The pain was intense for an instant. I have not been circumcised. No irritation this morning. Hopefully, this is the end of this chapter. Thanks again.
