Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough In A Child
Brief Answer:
Needs re-evaluation and chest xray
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Cough lasting for 10 days needs further evaluation including,
Re-clinical examination and chest X ray to rule out lung, throat or ear infection.
Get Your child evaluated in a children's hospital to identify these.
Treatment will depend on examination finding and chest xray.
Sometimes it could be allergic in nature which might improve with nebulisations.
Discuss these with your doctor
They will help you out.
If you have further query please get back to me.
Wishing your child good health and speedy recovery.
Regards
Dr Arun
