Brief Answer:
Clinical evaluation, investigations and proper treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted that you have diarrhea and stomach cramps on and off.

Please give additional detail:
- How many loose stools a day?
- What is the consistency, color, smell of stool, any mucus or blood?
- Any bloating, nausea or vomiting?
- Was there any history of outside food or so?

I would advise you the following:
- Get the stool tests and the blood and urine test.
- Clinical evaluation and examination.
- Get started on a proper antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotics and as required. These medicines need a valid prescription of a Doctor.
Complete the course and I hope you will be fine.
7 days is a long time to suffer from such a problem, a routine GI disturbance can take a dew days to settle and does not stretch so much.
Hence to take extra care.

I hope this answer helps you to get an early diagnosis and proper investigations and treatment.

Brief Answer:
Which antibiotic were you taking?

Detailed Answer:
Added information: were already on antibiotic and prednisolone.
Noted your feedback.
It is possible that some antibiotics do cause loose stools but do not cause cramps hence it is possible that there is an intestinal infection.
Please get the tests done and a proper treatment instituted.
Start probiotics immediately.
