Brief Answer:
For now just continue with the same things she has been doing so far.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

It is normal for the diarrhea from a viral GI infection to last 7-15 days.
The antibiotics are not recommended unless she will have blood or mucus in the stool.
As I understand it, the diarrhea seem to be getting better.
She also seems to be doing the right things by taking the probiotics, the BRAT diet and to drink plenty of fluids.

So my recommendation is to continue with the same diet and fluids.
Avoid taking the antidiarrhea medicine, unless she has too, because it may cause constipation after.
Watch the symptoms in the following days because she may be completely better, she may start with an upper respiratory infection and other symptoms.
So we will understand more, and act accordingly, depending on the the symptoms that will develop.

Let me know, and I will be happy to help.

Looking forward to your follow up question.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako

Brief Answer:
If she is getting better, she will get even better, just needs time.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up question.

Being tired during and after an infection like this, is normal.
That is why the main recommendation is to drink fluids and have that specific diet because the body needs to recover all the elements that it has lost.

I am glad that she is better. Continue following the advises and she will be fine in a couple of days.

I expect to only be better and better. If not, means something is complicated and she needs to consult a physician.

Hope this helps.
