Brief Answer:
Information

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

While it is an uncommon side effect, agitation is listed in the literature for amoxicillin. I haven't seen that happen myself though. I am also wondering if there may be more pressure on his ear drums right now from fluid from the infection, or if his tummy is upset from the antibiotic.

If he is crying and screaming considerably more, I recommend calling his doctor to discuss this. He may need to be seen again.
