Question: Constant headache - especially on the left hand side of the face and head. Goes away for a few days and then returns. This has been happening for a few months. Got MRI on brain and head but nothing significant found. Still worried though. What could it be?

Brief Answer:
Blood pressure changes, or common type headaches.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Since MRI resulted negative, yours is not a serious condition that may cause any harm.

Possible explanations of your headaches include changes in blood pressure, tension type headaches, or cluster headaches.

First, there is need to monitor your blood pressure for few days.

If no blood pressure related headaches, the cause remains one of common type headaches and treatment with over-the-counter painkillers should help relieve them.

Hope I have been of help.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
