                                            Question : Hi Doctor,
These days I am getting head ache when I think about logical questions/Maths questions. When I stop thinking about the same, head ache is going away.
what might be the problem?

                                    Brief Answer:
Headache may be related to stressors.
Detailed Answer:
Yes, stressors are known to precipitate headache especially in those who are prone to get chronic headache or tension headaches. I suggest taking over the counter pain medications like paracetamol tablets or ibuprofen only if the headache is severe and doesn't resolve.
If there are no other associated complains and if these headache are not very frequent, I would at this point ignore it.
Regards

                                    Brief Answer:
Prophylactic medications only if the headache is troubling...
Detailed Answer:
Apologies for the late reply...
Well, there are preventive medications prescribed to treat chronic and recurring headaches. These are taken to be every day to keep headaches away. Therefore I will suggest you consider these medications only if those headaches are severe, frequent and affecting your daily activities.
In my patients with similar debilitating and troublesome headaches, I suggest amitriptyline tables. Your doctor will know about it.
Besides these, make sure you sleep adequately. Eat regularly, never skip meals. Practice good lifestyle - exercise and relaxation techniques.
Hope this suffices. Let me know if you need more detailed information.
