Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

I understand your concern and would like to explain that your actual complaints needs further medical investigation.

First of all a careful physical examination and history review may reveal important clues on the etiological cause of your dizzy spells and heart murmur; whether there exists a conection between them or not.

Dizzy spells may be due to hypotension (probably orthostatic intolerance if related to taking the uprigh from recumbent position), but may also be related t oepisodes of cardiac arrhythmia (in such case an ambulatory 24 to 48 hours ECG monitoring would be necessary to rule it in/out).

A heart murmur may be an expression of an important heart valve disease (for example aortic valve stenosis, mitral valve disease, etc.), which may be resposible for those dizzy spells. Also a congenital heart disease even in your age needs to be excluded by a cardiac ultrasound.

Also, diabetes disequilibration with episodes of important hypoglicemia; migraine, cervica lspine column degeneration disorder, anemia, etc may be the potential reason of those dizzy spells.

Coming to this point, I would recomend performing some medical tests:

- complete blood count (for excluding anemia),
- fasting blood glucose,
- HbA1C,
- resting ECG,
- ambulatory ECG monitoring (Holter),
- cardiac ultrasound,
- cervical column spine X ray study,

and discuss with your attending physician on the above mentioned issues.

Hope you will find this answer of some help!

In case of any further uncertainties, feel free to ask me again.

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

Opinion as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

A bundle branch block on resting ECG may be present in an apparently normal individual, as well as be an expression of any cardiopathy.

In such case, I would advise you to wait concluding all the above mentioned tests results in order to precisely clarify the cause of your complaints.

Remember that even if any cardiac issue is present almost always there exist an appropriate solution (treatment).

So, don't worry too much about!

Just relax and wait the discussion with your doctor tomorrow.

Regards,

Dr. Iliri
