Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
I would like to know a few more things for a better help:
1. What is his platelet count , you have not mentioned that. If possible attach reports.
2. Any sore throat or pain in throat? Ask your child, and let me know.
3. Any pain abdomen or loose stools?
4. Any yellow discoloration of eyes or urine?
5. Any cough associated with expectoration?
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me and answer these questions preferably in point wise manner.

Detailed Answer:
Dear friend.
Welcome back. I have studied the reports. Platelet count is also normal.
However I am worried for such a high fever that is persisting since 10 days.
In such scenario with sore throat and deranged liver function I prefer not to use ofloxacin as this is not an effective antibiotic for such high fever and when Widal test for typhoid is negative.
I prefer to start on antibiotic like Augmentin and Doxycycline to cover any atypical infection.
You may discuss with your doctor to start your child on these medicines.
If the fever persists after even 3 days of these antibiotics get following investigations done:
1. Repeat Hemogram.
2. Repeat Liver Function test
3. Ultrasound abdomen to see for liver abscess
4. Malaria Antigen.
5. Chest X ray
6. Hepatitis B and C
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
