Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for your information,
It mostly due to postural related. Continuous staring at computer or TV can cause neck and shoulder pain. OR other possibility is cervical bone problem likes spondolysis.
I suggest you medication paracetamol and ibuprofen combination after food twice a day.
I also suggest you multivitamin medication once a day after lunch.
Hot water bag fomentation will help you. It will increase blood circulation in neck.
You can apply topical analgesics like volini or oxalgin for pain.
Avoid high pillow while sleeping.
Take rest for 5 minutes every 2 hours in between your work.
Neck exercises will help you. I would suggest you do yoga and meditation will help you to relive your tension. Early morning exercises give you more energy. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, salads.
Drink plenty of water and fluids.
If you will not feel better with aforementioned suggestions after 10 days then I suggest you visit your doctor or orthopedician and get x ray of neck done to rule out neck bone problem.
I also suggest you get blood tests like hemoglobin, thyroid, vitamin d and B12 done if you have not done earlier. Once you done tests then let me know the results.
If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
