Suggest Treatment For Persistent Swelling And Redness After Being Bitten By Wasp
Question: Bit by a wasp 9 days ago still red and a tad swollen ! No pain or itching only slight pain initial day of sting . Just wanted to see if this is still a normal reaction this many days after

Using corticosteroid creams like Hydrocortisone (cortsone 1) for local application twice daily and taking Zyrtec (cetirizine) once daily for 5 days will be helpful to clear this. These are available as over the counter. You can also apply ice packs on the bitten area.
