Question: Hi.
My wife has been having severe itchiness in her Vagina the past week. It has happened before but always went away. The creams she's trying aren't helping.

Can you upload photos of the itchy areas ?
Is she having a foul smelling vaginal discharge ?
Is there any burning during micturition / lower abdominal pain / pain during intercourse ?
She might be having a vaginal infection.
The type of infection can be confirmed by having a vaginal swab and culture.
She needs to visit an OB - GYN and go for an internal exam, vaginal swab and culture, Pap smear.
Once the infection is confirmed, the culture will dictate what antibiotics will work against it
Has she taken antibiotics lately ?
Has she been using a new ointment, soap, cream, cleanser etc ?
Have protected sex until this issue is resolved.
