Brief Answer:
This requires antibiotic eyedrops.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having pink eye/ conjunctivitis probably acquired from your child who had similar problem.
You can use Ampiclox capsules as told to you. More imporatantly antibiotic eye drops are required. Gentamycin usually acts against only gram negative bacteria and dies not cover gram positive bacteria. Hence preferably broad spectrum antibiotic eye drops covering most of the organisms like Moxifloxacin need to be used.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

how long should I take the eye drops?
when can I resume back to work?
will I be still infectious to those working around me?

Brief Answer:
You can resume your work.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
Thank you for the follow up question.

The infection will spread to others in the first 1-3 days, till discharge is present.
Once discharge is absent you will not be infectious.
The eye drops are required for 5-7 days . Since you have used them for 3 days you need to use them for another 3-4 days.

You can resume your work by tomorrow itself.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
