Initially E.N.T. Opinion and then Symptomwise Approach/Management is required
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for reverting back.
1. Since resistance can develop easily with anti microbial therapy thus initially consultation with expert in infectious disease and microbiology is usually indicated and also get an E.N.T. opinion immediately to know about the prognosis and outcome of disease only then some concrete medicine (herbal/alternate/tradituonal) can be adviced.
2. In Ayurveda I usually prefer powdered decoction (CHURNA) and/or powdered ash (BHASMA) to help control/prevent the disease but require modern techniques like disc diffusion method to standardise and bring out best quality herbal products owing to complex nature of the BHASMA.
3. In nut shell prior to any Alternate Management's do get an E.N.T. Opinion and all possible treatment option and then get back to me with all your reports, so that best possible Advice can be initiaed from my side.
