Suggest Treatment For Psychosis

Question: My wife having some mental problem since two yrs. Almost two yrs. back she having problem hearing of music in night and always saying some body is following her, always negative thinking, some times sleeping disorder,behaviour is very abnormal some, anti social does not like to talk more with other person always thinking she is always right, now last two months she is taking one medicine advised by one phychiatrist.pls. advise what I should do. she can be normal in future or not.

I think, she has psychosis and in that case, she should be on antipsychotic drugs. These drugs would help to control the symptoms. As you have mentioned that she has been taking drug for last two months, then carry on with drug if she is getting a little bit improvement. If she is not getting any improvement with that drug, then either she needs higher dose or different antipsychotic. Tell me about the drug and its dosage, so i could give you further advise.
