Brief Answer:
Most probably related to the tooth, needs more details..

Detailed Answer:
Hi .
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain if there is pain only at one point on the jaw then it can be most probably due to any decayed tooth..

But in case if jaw joint is tender then perhaps the joint can also be having some problem..

But for correct diagnosis you need to consult an Oral Physician and get a full mouth x ray known as Panoramic x ray done that will involve your all teeth as well as jaw joints..

I can however help you to rule out the exact cause and for this please answer the following questions:

1. Do you have any decayed tooth/teeth?
2.Do you have pain in opening and closing the mouth?
3.Do you have clicking or popping sound when you open or close your mouth or chew?
4.Do you have pain in front of the ear?
5.Do you experience pain only on pressing or otherwise also?

Please revert back with answers..

Brief Answer:
Looks like TMJ..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

As per your answers it looks like TMJ as clicking sound and tightness is experienced commonly due to TMJ..

If it occurred only after chewing jelly bean and gum then it can be probably transient due to muscle fatigue..

But if this has happened before also then it is probably leading towards TMJ..

As of now you can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and muscle relaxant like Chlorzoxasone..
Do alternate warm and cool compresses over the jaw..
You should take a soft diet..
Avoid excessive mouth opening...

In case of it still doesn't work then you should get proper evaluation and Panoramic x ray done..

Please revert back for further queries..

Hope this information helps..

Regards..
