Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Ankles Along With Dark Pigmentation

Question: I am a 46 yr old female and have a rash on both ankles. Deep red but not raised . Duration approx 3 days just started itching slightly 24 hrs ago only on 1 leg. Swelling in ankles and feet for about 6 months . Some darkened pigment spots on top of feet also. No meds new or that should cause this. Any thoughts

Take an anti histamine tablet and apply cortisone cream.
This should give you immediate relief.

Thank you for your answer. By allergic reaction I am assuming you mean environmental and not medication . I was just concerned since my ankles have been swelling and the rash did not itch much at all. I have a photo that I think might help .
