Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Arms
Question: hi ,I have this rash on my both arms in the same part (left arm is the one in the photo ,my other arm has less rash),my concern is that I was in contact with someone that right now is in the hospital with meningitis, my fist contact was 13 days ago and my second contact was 6 days ago ,could this be a fist symptom? is getting a vaccine for meningitis a good idea? (I don't have Healthcare if not I would go to my doctor right away ) thank you

2.- after going to bed ,I haven't had anything out of my regular diet ,and from what I know I'm not allergic to anything
3.-It has but not on both arms and not on that certain area
4.- No ,but I forgot to mention I had unprotected sex with the person that's at the hospital, and she does have diabetes type 1
5.-No

7.-NOo,just cold like symptoms about 3 days ago,but I feel perfectly fine now

Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them. Features are suggestive of Dermatitis v/s allergic response. There is highly unlikely possibility of meningitis. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:
- cetirizine one at night for 5 days
- wash/change bedding thoroughly.
- apply Betamethasone 1mg over the rash area.
- Application of moisturizing agents or emollients like vaseline.
Hopefully you will see improvement in 2-3 days BUT if conditions remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital for further workup.
