Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Hands While Recovering From Throat Infection
Take antihistamines like levocetrizine 10 mg.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to health care magic,
Rashes after using a drug especially antibiotic which is not uncommon and it is almost always caused by an allergic reaction to that drug.
If the reaction is not severe enough with symptoms like shortness of breath, wheezing, hypotension etc then antihistamines are usually prescribed.
There are various antihistamines each having its own advantages like chlorpheniramine or levocetirizin which will be available over the counter.
The rashes might subside within 2 or 3 days after antihistamines usage.
When the allergy is more severe corticosteroids may be added to the regimen. In severe cases the intravenous root is preferred with methylprednisolone being the most commonly used. In less severe cases, predinosolone can be given by mouth.
Hope this will help you.

Dr.Sandip
Start antihistamines and consult dermatologist if not.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the follow-up.
If you have not taken any antihistamines yet, then I will advise you to take it as there is no harm in taking it.
Or if you have taken it and still your rashes has not subsided or they started appearing at other places then it must be diagnosed first by clinical examination and some relevant tests. For that you should see dermatologist who can put some differential diagnosis and can initiate treatment.
Your doctor said about some hands, foot and mouth disease but we need some certain diagnosis so that further treatment can be planned unless it is allergic.
Also,in the absence of any clinical symptoms (like you said you have no fever and tiredness) I will keep the possibility of any specific disease in the last.
So,start antihistamines and consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis first.
You can also take the clinical picture of the affected part and send it to me,I will try my best to help you as far as I can.

Possibly due to allergy.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
You sent me only one attachment and that image is also not so clear.
It might possibly be allergy to that antibiotic but I am not 100% sure as the image is a bit blurred.
I think you should continue with oral antihistamines like levocetrizine 10 mg twice daily to check for the response for couple of days.
Or kindly send me some better quality image of hands, foot and mouth. Also, tell me if there is itching or not.
