Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Abdomen
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have a rash that develops in the crease under my stomach over-hang. What can I treat this with?
Brief Answer:
Seems to be intertrigo, cortisone cream & antihistaminic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
According to your complaints it seems to be intertrigo which is inflammation of the body folds.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected area twice daily for 2 weeks.
If the rash is associated with itching you can take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once daily for 2 weeks.
