Chemical sphincterotomy not advisable.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I understand your situation. However, I would not prefer chemical sphicterotomy, especially at home. Rather, there are three important things to consider. The first is to check if there is a sinus tract and if it is infected. If that is the case, surgical intervention would be advisable. If not, you can proceed with conservative management.
The next and most important step is to give her plenty of green leafy vegetables and also fibre supplements (like isabgol husk) regularly with diet. You may continue to give her Laxopeg. Plenty of water intake regularly is essential. It will prevent it from recurring.
You can continue applying Lox jelly as and when required. But if that is the case probably she would get relief on using Sitz bath. She has to sit on a tumbler of hot water (as hot as skin can take) with her anal opening dipped. This has to be done for about 20 mins.
The second part is to give her Daflon tablet 500mg half tablet once 4 hourly for 3 days followed by 8 hourly for another 4 days. Please discuss with your treating physician before opting for this treatment but this will help in making the episode subside.
Let me know if I could help further.

Nitroglycerin may cause sudden drop in blood pressure
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for clarifying. Although nitroglycerine and nifedipine can be used, they can cause blood vessels to dilate, leading to sudden drop in blood pressure which can lead to a serious condition and so it would not be advisable to try at home without medical supervision. It is effective though. But Daflon is a much safer alternative doing the same thing. It contains flavones, which help in dilatation of the veins and help them to heal better. Unless it is seriously infected, Daflon can be enough. It can be dissolved in water and given. Ideally you should not give it without discussing with your treating physician.
