Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Bronchitis And Pneumonia
Lymph nodes center of immunity
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns.
You have been experiencing lower respiratory infection for 6 weeks. You have gone through a full course of antibiotics and still having symptoms. One of the symptoms is the enlarged lymph nodes in your axilla and behind your ear. These lymph nodes are centers for white blood cells and lymphocytes that help fight infection. This is normal and should not worry you. Your body is trying to fight the infection and the enlarged lymph nodes are the result.
To reduce the pain associated with the enlarged lymph nodes you can use aspirin or ibuprofen.
I would not be worried about your lymph nodes. I would ask you though to continue to follow up with your doctor so they can help you with the bronchitis.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns or questions.
Low risk for HIV
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for returning to HCM with your health care concerns.
The risk of contracting HIV through oral sex is very remote and since you have had HIV screening at exposure and again at 4 months you can feel secure that you do not have HIV.
