Question: I have some allergies to tree pollen and am taking loratadine 10 mg. every 24 hours. I have some congestion and want to take guaifenesin as an expectorant. I also take blood pressure med. losartin 50 12.5. Are there any contraindications for this mix of meds as long as I stay with 2 or 3 tsps of guaifenesin in 24 hours fpr a few days only?

Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that there are no interaction between these drugs.

So, it is safe to take them concomitantly (loratadine, guanfacine, losartan and hydrochlorothiazide).

You have nothing to worry about!

Hope to have been helpful!
