Brief Answer:
Same drug will work

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing through HCM.

I have read your query and understood your concerns.
You have been suffering from recurrent depression for the last 18 years and in between you have taken flunil and it worked every time.

So, if you are better on flunil then you have to ask your psychiatrist about continuing this drug for long time. Do not stop the drug after taking it for a month or two. You need to continue it for at least 1 to 2 years and now may be for long duration.

So in my opinion if you are improving with flunil then you should ask for it to your psychiatrist. There is not permanent cure, it is about identifying the symptoms at early stage so that it can be treated properly. There is no permanent cure unless you change your thinking, based on which you have recurrence of symptoms repeatedly.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have further query then feel free to ask.
Wish you good health.
