Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Mole

default
Posted on Tue, 15 Mar 2016
Question: I had a mole appear during my second pregnancy and i had it removed when my baby was about 5 months old. The doctor said it was a normal looking mole and said he would remove it, but told me it would grow back. Well during my third pregnancy it did grow back and its the same size it was before. I'm a little concerned that it grew back because I've read that when moles do that it is never a good sign.

Brief Answer:
Looks benign but should be removed

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.

This doesn't look dysplastic or malignant on this photo so this is obviously just melanocytic nevus, but if this growed again it means that it wasn't removed completely first time. So it would be smart to removed it again and send to histopathological analysis.

Wish you good health. Regards
