Hello,

You had a mole which was surgically removed and after a year the scar disappeared leaving behind a small bump which was removed by puncture and burning. Keep the wound clean, wash with antibacterial soap and apply ointment Neosporin on it so that it does not get infected. Since it is burnt, keep it well moisturized with calamine lotion or ointment to decrease itching and prevent development of blister or skin tear.

Minor puncture wounds, cuts and burns usually stop bleeding without any treatment. It commonly starts to heal within 24 hours but may take 1-2 months to get completely healed. It varies from person to person. Do not let it get infected otherwise blood or pus will spurts and emergency care will become necessary.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a dermatologist if it takes a longer time to heal you may need a course of antibiotics. You may recommended by your dermatologist to get biopsy done to rule out any type of developing skin malignancy. Stay away from addictions if any. Control your blood glucose level to aid faster healing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
