Brief Answer:
Viral / bacterial infections.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic.

1. The history suggest possbilities of viral / bacterial infection.
2. If there are any associates symptoms like loose stools - then it can be acute gastroenteritis.
3. In any case a simple cold and fever should give relief in 3 days time - with the medication the baby is on.
4. In this case i would recommend to get examined and treated accordingly - if possible take to ER.
5. There is nothing to worry, but in very few cases some blood investigations might required.

Good luck.
