Suggest Treatment For Red And Itchy Spots On Fingers And Hands

Question: I have red, itchy spots on my fingers and hands that start as small points of red and get larger. They are circles of red about a half inch indiameter. Started a week ago, after my right foot broke out with either poison ivy or something like that. We had been at a wooded lake area for 5 days. I have been using hydrocortisone, but new spots continue to appear. Could it be ringworm and need an antifungal?
Brief Answer:
Fungal infection likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at HCM.
As per history it appears to be fungal infection. I would suggest you to get skin scrapping done for microscopy for fungal elements. Do not apply any cream. After test you can apply fourderm cream for 2-3 weeks. Stay in follow up.
