Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction most likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM

I have gone through your query. This can be due to allergic reaction from some of the contents in Icy hot. You can apply hydrocortisone ceam for this. Taking antihistamines like Benadryl or cetirizine is helpful also.

Benadryl is available as over the counter in strength of 25mg. You can take one tab two or three times daily. There will be drowsiness while taking this. so avoid driving.

If there is no improvement then consult your GP. In such case a short course of oral corticosteroid like methylprednisolone will be needed.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
