Question: I have a red bump on my penis. I had a wart there 20 years ago. Dr. gave me aldara cream, told me not to worry about it again. Could this be the same 20 years later? Happily married now, 2 kids and no extramarital activities. Please help.

Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted You had Genital wart 20 years back which was successfully treated with Aldara cream .

Now you have developed red bump at the site of wart .It is most unlikely to be a wart, It is likely to be a staphylococcal infection of hair follicle (Boil).

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefotaxime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

I can't say it's the exact place but it's similar. I have Cipro available to me. What is the other drug - Diclofenac? Can you phone in script to my pharmacy?
