Suggest Treatment For Red, Burning Rash On Face
Question: I have a red, burning rash on my face. It started three 3 days ago. Now I have a big water bag under my right eye. The only thing I've done different is I have been eating a lot of yogurt; I take 50mg of levothyroxine, 12.5 iodine per day for a thyroid problem. My thyroid was .95. I didn't realize that yogurt had a lot of iodine in it. I also have been eating fish 2 times weekly. I thought eating healthy for a change was good. Is my new eating habits causing me to have a problem with iodine?

I will have my husband to make a picture when he gets home. Is it possible that this could be iodine related as this is the only thing I did different with eating all the yogurt and fish trying to get healthy?

It could be an allergy to Iodine but the symptoms are not typical. Because this was consulted by moth, the rash should be almost all over the body and rarely on a localised part of the body alone. Localised rash often suggests something more local than systemic.
