Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Most often such redness develops due to an allergic reaction. If that is the case Pataday Drop (Olopatadine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution) 1 drop in the affected eye thrice or four times a day for few days should help. Please discuss with your doctor before use.

If there is discharge from the eye(s) perhaps an antibiotic drop like Ciplox (Ciprofloxacin) would be needed.

Uploading an image should help.

Brief Answer:
Consider it a normal variation.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

I have checked the attached image. It has been perfectly taken and clearly shows the difference in size. The variation is a part of the features that she has been born with. I would not advise any intervention regarding the same. Later in life if you wish to opt for a cosmetic surgery (plastic surgery), that is a different thing but it would not be a good idea to mess with it at this stage.

But this size difference was never there .
It only has come after her eye corner became red for 2 days....is it because of some swelling?

Am very sure her eyes hv this difference since birth

Brief Answer:
Use of Pataday drops can help.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for clarifying. The clarification was very important. I would insist you to apply Pataday Drops (Olopatadine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution) in each eye 1 drop 3-4 times daily for next few days (after discussing with your treating physician). That should take care of the problem. If it does not, it would be a good idea to visit an ophthalmologist and get her evaluated.

Brief Answer:
Antibiotic drops advisable

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. It is good to know that the redness has decreased. I have noticed the swelling. Unless it is there only for the early morning, treatment with antibiotic drops like Ciplox (ciprofloxacin) 1 drop in affected eye four times daily for 5 days would be advisable. Discuss with your doctor.

Let me know if you have further queries.
