Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a five month baby who is around 24pounds, for about two works have been having slight pain in chest, breast, shoulder and arm. It seems to get worse when i lift my son up or when holding him. Could I have pulled a muscle? I saw my GP recently and examined my breasts and founs no abnormalities - should i be worried about the pains
It could be just a twisted muscle. Anyway, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam, in order to exclude a possible bulging disc in the cervical vertebral column. In such case a cervical spine MRI may be needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
