Brief Answer:
Alaspan can be safely given again

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

It is not uncommon for children of this age to suffer from cold. It is generally caused due to a viral infection and has an associated allergic component where antiallergics like Alaspan come in handy. It is an effective medicine and can be given again. You can safely use it in the same dose as prescribed earlier by your doctor.

Alongside, you can give steam inhalation and some saline nasal drop like nasoclear 1 drop into each nostril as required, in order to relieve the nasal block.

Hope that helps.

Brief Answer:
The dose is proper

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

The dose 2.5 ml twice daily for next 3-5 days should be fine to be given to a child of this age. Please continue the same.

Hope that helps.

Brief Answer:
Give steam inhalation and nasal drops

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

The fact that the runny nose is gone, indicates that the allergic component is under control. But she could still be having nasal block which is making her breathe through her mouth. I would suggest you to:
1. Give steam inhalation. The water in form of vapour will reach deep inside and help in diluting the cough that is causing the blockage.
2. Put a drop or two of some saline nasal drop like nasoclear into each nostril as required, in order to relieve the nasal block.
3. If you feel that the nasal block is not relieved with nasoclear, you may try giving Nasivion nasal drops.

In any case, the situation should get relieved in a few days.
