Brief Answer:
Go for a blood test for serum electrolyes.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.
Salty taste in the mouth occurs in a case of dehydration due to electrolye imbalance, most commonly sodium.
I would advise to to have a blood test for serum electrolyes,commonly-Sodium,potassium and Chloride.
Fluid replacement would be appropriate , guided by a physician according to the electrolye imbalance detected.
Hope this answers your query.I would be happy to answer if you have any follow-up questions.
