Suggest Treatment For Seizures
Anti-epileptic drugs need to be readjusted.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your son's symptoms and current medications.
His seizures are most likely due to injury to the frontal lobe.
The medications are good, however, the dose needs to be readjusted as per his body weight.
The dose of oxmazetol (oxcarbazepine) is 10-20 mg per kg body weight and the lames (lamotrigine) can be increased to 100 mg per day slowly.
Please discuss about this with his neurologist.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology) XXXXXXX Consultant Neurologist

Regular exercises and diet control
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
The weight can be controlled by regular balanced diet and daily exercises such as jogging and cycling.
Encorate chrono is a good anti-epileptic drug.
If seizures get controlled, we do not expect any problems in future.

No specific blood tests are needed
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
1. There is no need of any blood tests. Only periodic review with neurologist is needed to readjust the dose of medications.
2. If there are frequent seizures, it may lead to forgetfulness and memory impairment. No problems are expected with occasional seizures.
