Suggest Treatment For Several Lumps In The Armpit
Question: I am 10 days post arthroscopic shoulder surgery for bone spur and tendinitis and have noticed several lumps under the skin in my armpit. Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Lymph nodes
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You had surgery 10 days ago and now you notice lumps in your armpit. These are probably lymph nodes that are reacting to the recent surgery. They are to be expected and do not indicate any disease or infection. They will resolve gradually over the next 1-2 weeks. If they last longer then have your medical provider check them out.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
