Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain
Question: Hello,
I have been having a nagging pain on the lower right side of my stomach for about a month now. It hurts most when I sit for long periods of time or when I get out of my car which sits low. Sometimes the pain affects the up area of my leg and cause me to lean forward or limp. I am not sure if this a muscle causing the discomfort or something else. Can you tell me the best type of doctors I should go to that can give me a diagnosis?
Thank you,
Mildred

Pain in the right lower part of your stomach lasting a month, may be due to many things--common ones are--

A stone in the Ureter (tube that connects kidney to bladder)
All these conditions can lead to the kind of pain you describe, especially since it also affects upper area of leg occasionally.
